Robert Grawet to chair Strategy Institute Seminar

SMART to lead experts in digital signage discussions

CALGARY, Alberta --- February 28, 2006 --- SMART Technologies Inc. announces that its interactive digital signage manager, Robert Grawet, will chair the Strategy Institute Seminar on Digital Signage for Venues and Public Spaces. The two-day conference begins today at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner, Washington DC.

Grawet is responsible for the sales development of SMART’s Actalyst™ interactive digital signage (IDS), which is touch technology for large-screen LCD and plasmas.  Grawet has worked on IDS projects with companies as diverse as Bank of America, Thomasville Furniture and Seattle Design Center, winner of the first annual DIGI Award. His experience in large-screen IDS over the past five years has made Grawet a recognized leader in this field, and he has presented at most major trade shows for the industry, including the Worldwide Kiosk Show in Singapore, and Infocomm Asia in Singapore and Shanghai. As chair of this seminar, Grawet will be hosting the event, introducing all the seminar presenters and leading seminar discussions. Grawet will also be speaking at two other upcoming digital signage events, the 10th annual KioskCom in Las Vegas, NV, April 10–12, 2006 and the Digital Retailing Expo in Rosemont, IL, May 17–18, 2006.
